You shouldn't have had to remind them to do that. They should've been doing it in the 1st place. I totally agree with you!

@Clare Yes, the nape needs extra attention (moisturizing, sealing, etc) I still haven't found the right stylist for my hair. And to be honest, I kinda stopped looking. I'm my own stylist, lol.Kenyahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14353917839488655797noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6558787908775996583.post-43026678605578229272011-09-13T21:20:25.947-05:002011-09-13T21:20:25.947-05:00Great post! My nape is not where I want it to be, but it is getting there. Taking care of it is key!!Clarehttp://www.clarabelleblog.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6558787908775996583.post-87075929249053577262011-09-13T04:39:28.558-05:002011-09-13T04:39:28.558-05:00My nape is not so great but it is much better than...My nape is not so great but it is much better than it used to be. It's improved a lot since the start of my hair journey (there are pics on my blog simplyintomyhair).

One tip I do have is if you get your relaxer in a salon where they wash your hair in a basin with neck support, prob sounds silly but make sure they a) rinse out the relaxer properly from the nape as it touches the basin and is hard to get to a) that they rinse the relaxer off the basin after rinsing your nape c) neutralize your nape THOROUGHLY with shampoo (and more than once) during the wash process. The junior staff in the salon I used to go to always overlooked this area unless I lifted my head off the sink and told them......prob what caused most of the damage back there in the first place!?

TamaTraceyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05003257186578713107noreply@blogger.com
