On Friday, December 16, 2011, Simply Scents by Shan Candle Company presents the Holiday Marketplace and 5th Annual Elite Mingler Toy Drive Mix-n-Mingle. This event will be different from past events. The night will feature a catered cocktails and connections affair filled with evocative aromas and networking as we have done so successfully in the past. However this year adds a new spin with the Holiday Marketplace. Guest will mix and mingle with friends old and new, listen to the sounds of the holiday season and shop to the desire of their hearts.

At the Holiday Marketplace the company will introduce favorite holiday scents like Sock It To Me, Winterberry, Spiced Cranberry and Peppermint Stick. Elite Mingler is a group of professionals that meet for social, cultural, and networking events. These social gatherings attract the major movers and shakers of Houston looking for ways to make a positive impact in the communities where they work and live. Over the past five years they have worked with the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation to raise more than a thousand toys for children who otherwise would not have a gift on Christmas day.
On Friday, December 16th the doors of The Groovey Grill Mansion will open at 5PM and the admission is an unwrapped toy (or $10) to benefit the Marines Toys for Tots Foundation. The Groovey Grill Mansion is located at 2619 Calumet Street, Houston, TX 77004.
