New Style: Low Loose Bun

So...this is the style I wore the most while we were roadtripping. ;-) It was easy and it took minutes. I did do the side bun sometimes, but I wore this the most. How-to video coming this week!! My 1st real one. This bun is SO easy....

My Braided Classy Bun

This is pretty much one of my main go-to hairstyles right before my relaxer. Well maybe not right before. I usually start doing this style a few weeks before my relaxer. I do it when I just want to give my hair a rest. I sometimes do it on freshly relaxed hair too like here. It's easy to do...I just add a braid to the classy bun. I'm addicted to side braids. They look so chic to me. Then I put the bun towards the side. I'm going to do a step-by-step tutorial for this bun...I'll try to post it this weekend, but in the meantime visit Serenity Breeze's Fotki. I learned of the style through her. :-) If you want to see how the braided classy bun looks from the front go here.
The last 2 photos are the classy bun with just a side bang. That's how it looks around 8 weeks post...very hard to lay down! It was a little messy in these photos. The classy bun is pretty much a hairstyle staple for me! It's a classic, timeless look. :-)

Double Bun Fun!

Last week I tried out a new style.....I got the idea first from The Feisty House. Presenting the side double buns: I really liked this look. It made me feel like I was younger-I guess because of the ponytails I had to make to create the style. Have you ladies tried this style? I think the next time I do it, will be with a braidout....I like the messier look. -K.D.

My Edges: Eco Style Styling Gel

I ran out of aloe vera gel a few days ago so I decided to try the infamous Eco Styler Gel I've been reading so much about. Here are the results.... The gel did a really good job on my edges (almost 10 weeks post relaxer). I think I put too much on my hair though.... lol. I'm going to use it a few more times before a give a formal review about it. Update on relaxer: I'll be self-relaxing on Tues., Nov.3rd. My Alter Ego will be arriving tommorrow! : ) Stay tuned for relaxer photos and my length check on Tues. and Wed........

The Classy Bun Modified

Here's how I wore my hair to the movies last night. It took me all of 5-10 minutes to do this. I took a little longer than usual because I have to put a little more effort into it when it's close to relaxer time. My hair has trouble staying down! lol It's basically a modified classy bun that I posted awhile back. The only difference is that I made this a side bun and I also added a quick messy braid to the front. This is something quick and easy you can do when you don't feel like wearing a ponytail. Now I'm off to go wash and deep condition my hair! :-) -K.D.

Bun Love!

Here's my everyday bun. I change it up by coming up with different creations for the front and putting the bun in different areas. This is the style I wear the most. It's easy to create...it only takes me about 5 minutes. You likey? Here's what you need to create this: 1. bobby pins 2. hair tie 3. ALOE VERA GEL! Especially if you're stretching your relaxer like I am... :-)

If you want a step-by-step tutorial on how to do it check out Serenity Breeze's Fotki wonderful album.
