DIY: Cut A Dress Into a Shirt

I've had this dress for a couple of years now. I've worn it so many times as a dress that I wanted to do something different to it...and I wanted a new outfit! lol

 These pics were taken a couple of weeks after I delivered Khloa Boa in April...

Here's the finished product! (taken a week ago)

You can even use some of the material to make a headband....

I cut the dress as best I could. It's in no way a perfect straight line all the way across...I do advise drawing a line w/ a marker or something else where you want to cut. If you can sew (unlike me!), you could hem the bottom a little. This was a great way to make my dress into a new outfit. I've had the dress for years so it was ready to do a lil' something to it. ;-) Or if you have a dress like this you could make it into a shorter dress. Just another idea....

Girl...Turn That T-shirt Into a Dress!

Clearly this pic is a few months old. I was headed out to Wal-Mart...I took this pic at the beginning of the summer before I dyed my hair. My ladies on the Facebook page have already seen this snapshot, but I don't think I've ever posted the link to the actual video. Just one of my t-shirt dresses. ;-)

So it's Saturday & I'm bringing ya'll one of my d-i-y outfits. I told ya'll I'll only be including fashion that's cheap & thrifty so here it is! Plus, if I think something is beneficial I'm going to share it with you guys. I'll take some more in my different t-shirt dresses....been doing them all summer. :D I'm telling ya'll....they're the cheapest dresses yet! lol! I used a few of the hubs old t-shirts (x-large) he didn't want anymore.  I wonder if he's tired of me hitting up his closet? #ahwell lol... Even though I've already thanked you on Twitter (and YouTube) just wanna say thank you again Fashion du jour Daily for posting this t-shirt dress idea! :-)
