Update on My Gurl Giveaways

Hey ladies and (gents?)..... So I just wanted to send you guys a quick update on what's going on with my gurl giveaways. I started doing the giveaways as a way to give back to my wonderful readers whom I adore. Basically, when I went to the beauty supply store I would just get 2 of some of my favorite hair products and give the other one away. Slight problem though...I didn't realize how expensive that can get and I'm just not at a place in my life where I can justify the costs of it (the hair product, postage and mailing, etc.) So unfortunately I will not be able to host them weekly anymore. It's just too much of a struggle. It's easy to find random sponsors for giveaways, but some of the people who contact me are not from hair care companies and I really try to keep my giveaways "hair related". Ya know? So I've decided to host at least one giveaway a month. I didn't want to keep you guys hanging on and waiting for the next giveaway. I like to be honest and tell people exactly what the deal is. Personally, I appreciate honesty in people. (and I hope you guys do too :-) I hope you guys understand my reasons and continue to hang in here with me. Thank you all for continuously reading my blog. Pantene Gurl Giveaway!

Mini-Vacay Time!

Morning ya'll! I apologize for my lack of posting yesterday......there was a lot going on. Our laptop is broke so the hubs and I are sharing the main pc. lol So on to this week's Gurl Giveaway! This week I'll be giving away Elasta QP Intense Conditioner. I use this conditioner every once in awhile, but I used this heavily at the beginning of my hair care journey. It always made my hair feel extremely soft. I love the smell of this stuff! It used to smell like bananas. Gurl Giveaway: ApHogee ProVitamin Leave-In!

Hey ya'll, It's that time again.....gurl giveaway time! So....this week I'll be giving away ApHogee Pro-Vitamin Leave-In Conditioner. I've been using this stuff since March when I noticed that my ends were A LOT thinner after a relaxer. If you missed it here it is. So I chopped them off. I like healthy thick ends and that thinning crap was not the business. This leave-in makes my hair feel so strong and I also get a lot less breakage. It really saved my hair. If your hair loves protein (like mine does!), then this is the giveaway for you. :-) Might I add this is a great time to try it if you've been wondering about it!

Here's how I use the ApHogee ProVitamin: 1. After I wash and condition, I spray this throughout my hair concentrating the most on my ends. 2. Since this is a protein leave-in, I put my VO5 conditioner over this to soften my hair back up. 3. Run some coconut oil through my hair and that's it!

I really enjoyed my day off. I really needed that. :-) So I was thinking.... it's been about....3 months since the last giveaway so I think it's time for another! I would like to start scheduling at least one giveaway a month.
