Good evening Hair Gurls!
Got another outstanding review for Organix! :-). In this post, I told you that I also tried the Fortifying Lavender Soymilk Collection (which is a brand new set for 2009!) and.....it's just as amazing as the Nourishing Coconut Milk! The bottles as you can see are lavender (which was the color of my room growing up lol). Back to the review: I love lavender and the fact that the shampoo and conditioner where that color made me even more excited. Weird I know...
The shampoo smells awesome and it's extremely gentle. My hair and scalp felt very clean after using the shampoo. I love the organic lavender oil and soymilk infused into it. The smell is very yummy! See the ingredients for yourself:
FLSS
Aqua (Water), Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, Parfum, Glycol Distearate, Dimethicone Copolyol, Cetyl Alcohol, Cocamide DEA, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Polyquaternium-11, DMDM Hydantoin, Pathenol, Silk Amino Acids, Organic Lavender, Organic Soymilk Extract, Albumen, Marigold Oil Extract, Hydrolyzed Milk Protein, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Coumarin.
The conditioner is wonderful as well. After shampooing, I put the Fortifying Lavender Soymilk Conditioner in my hair and let it sit for about 20 mins. My hair was super soft when rinsing and I noticed a major difference. I detangled with no problems. In comparing this with the Nourishing Coconut Milk, this one made my hair a little softer. Everyone's hair is different so you'll have try them out and be the judge of what's best for your hair. As for me, I'm really enjoying the Fortifying Lavender Soymilk and the Nourishing Coconut Milk. Check out the ingredients:
FLSC
Aqua (Water), Cetyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Parfum, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Glucoside, Glyceryl Stearate, Glycerin, Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, DMDM Hydantoin, Panthenol, Silk Amino Acids, Hydrolyzed Milk Protein, Organic Lavender, Organic Soymilk Extract, Albumen, Marigold Oil Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Tetrasodium EDTA, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone.
Now, I want to try all of the collections! lol I'm already looking at the Shea Butter and TeaTree Mint.....

Product Rave: Outstanding Organix! Pt. 1
Happy Friday girls!
Great news-The wonderful people over at Organix sent me some products to try out! In case you missed the news I first posted about them here after trying the VitaminShampoo and Conditioner. Yay! I'd been dying to try them out for awhile. So first I tried the Nourishing Coconut Milk Shampoo and Conditioner- the winner of About's Best Coconut Products! The shampoo smells heavenly-has a faint smell of coconut and a very creamy consistency. It's also chocked full of incredible ingredients. This shampoo left my hair and scalp clean, but not feeling stripped...which I appreciated. It's also chocked full of incredible ingredients. See for yourself....
NCMS
Di Water (Aqua), Disodium Laureth Sulfosuccinate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, Glycol Distearate, Dimethicone Copolyol, Cetyl Alcohol, Cocamide DEA, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Polyquatermium 11, Panthenol, DMDM Hydantoin, Silk Amino Complex, Coconut Milk, Egg White Protein, Coconut Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Fragrance
On to the Nourishing Coconut Milk Conditioner...It's very similiar to the shampoo in smell. I left this in my hair for about 30 minutes and let me tell you-this condish left my hair feeling significantly stronger. It contains egg white protein, coconut milk, & coconut oil and that strengthens the hair. My hair loves protein! Protein is extremely essential for hair and I'll talk about that in another post. Here are the ingredients...
NCMC
Di Water (Aqua), Cetyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Glucoside, Glyceryl Stearate, Glycerin, Cyclomethicone, Dimethicone, Jojoba Oil, Panthenol, Silk Amino Complex, Coconut Milk, Egg White Protein, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Tetrasodium EDTA, Fragrance, DMDM Hydantoin, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone
I highly recommend both the shampoo and conditioner! :-)

Vitamin Shampoo and Conditioner!
This is a repost to correct some inaccurate information.
Vitamin Shampoo and Conditioner is not associated in any way with Vitamin Water, Glaceau, or the Coca Cola Company. Also, the image I used was not an updated one. You can check out their new image here .
Sorry about this everyone!
Don't know if you've heard, but there is a new line of hair products called Vitamin Shampoo and Conditioner. They come in 7 different kinds... I've been using the Acai Berry/Guava Shampoo and Conditioner and it's great! It smells very good and the smells lingers in my hair days after I've washed. The ingredients are also yummy as well.
Here are some positives about the combos:''
-no lauryl and laureth sulfates
-paraben free
-infused with superfruits (the scents smell soooo good, it'll be hard to choose)
Check out their website here!
