Itchy Scalp Solution-Elasta QP!

Evening dolls, I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! I did!!!!!! Did ya miss me? lol. I had a huge problem...for the past 3 days I've had an itchy scalp! I was literally going crazy. It was all over my head too...not just in one spot. I'm 10 weeks post so maybe that's it...I don't know. Some women say their head itches when they need a relaxer. I did an acv rinse on Friday night, but it only helped for the moment. Sooooo..... I just finished washing my hair with Elasta QP Dandruff Shampoo ($4) and deep conditioned with their DPR-11. I really worked that shampoo into my scalp too! My scalp feels soooo much better and my hair (especially my newgrowth!) is so soft. I must warn you though that the DPR-11 is very thick ($6). I actually liked it that way, but I realize this might be a problem for some ladies. I'd read about the DPR-11 on BHM last year and I've always wanted to try it so this was my chance. I've used their Intense Fortifying Conditioner($4) in the past and I loved it! I started using other conditioners and I forgot all about it. When you start your hair care journey there's always another shampoo, conditioner, oil, relaxer, comb, moisturizer, serum etc. that you want/need/have to try.lol Anyway...I'm glad I had a reunion with this line. :-) Note: Water is not one of the first ingredients in the DPR-11 so if it's too thick you can mix it with honey and oils!

I have never the shampoo! I will not re-purchase the DPR 11 tho. It did nothing for my hair at all and I have used way better DCs. I Love elast qp tho! I use the oil recovery, foam wrap lotion, and h-two leave in!

I've never tried the shampoo but I love DPR-11! I hate that when I open the jar it looks like relaxer lol but other than that it works wonders for my hair. I'm not too sure of my hair type so I don't know who it works best for?

A low cost, green eco friendly, healthy natural way to deal with itchy scalp is to make a homemade liquid from soapberries which grow on the Chinaberry tree and have been used for thousands of years. They work very effectively.
