The Death of a Blow Dryer

Good evening ladies, I hope you all enjoyed your day off. I know I did! :D Now remember when I told you guys I had something to tell on the day I posted photos of my relaxed hair.....Well, my freaking blowdryer is no more. It's dead. Yes, dead. After blowdrying my hair last week, I unplugged the bd like I always do. After doing that, I noticed that the bd plug area on one side was basically melted.
Wow.....I sat there just staring at it because I thought my bd would NEVER die on me. And I definitely wasn't going to try and plug it in again.... The postives about this experience are: 1. I got my money's worth out of it. It was a Conair that cost about $15 and I've had it for about 7 years. 2. I get to buy a new one!!! or put it on my Christmas list...hmmmmmm I don't really bd my hair a lot. I really only bd after a relaxer and that's it. The rest of the time I just airdry. Here's where I need your help. What kinds of bd's do you Hair Gurls have? I want to get a really good one, but I need to start doing research now. I don't want it to be too expensive considering the fact that I don't blow dry a lot. Thanks gurls!

I don't use a hand held blow dryer. I use one of the hooded ones but I did see one in Target for $19.99 lol.

I just went to my local beauty supply store and bought a Gold N' Hot bd kit for $19.99. It came with the dryer, a comb attachment and another attachment.

That is crazy. I have never seen one that was melted like that.

Gotta love how the less expensive dryers always last forever. I've had mine going on 5 years.
