Hair Disappointment

Disappointment is apart of every hair journey (and apart of life in general). I experienced some of this on my last relaxer in October...lol. Example being... My hair was not as long as I thought it would be. So for this go around I am going to step my protein deep conditioning game up and tweak my regimen just a little...Look at your regimen and see if you've changed something that may have affected your progress. Fingers crossed... I should have something to show by next relaxer (still deciding when this will be).
So to all of my ladies out there that have suffered from the "d" word, let's just step our game up. We can grow healthy long hair and we will grow healthy long hair! Who's with me??? So remember no matter how many times we are disappointed in our hair we will vow to use that experience as a stepping and learning stone.
Let's get it!!! lol! :-)

I totally agree. I just went through this with my hair recently and I had to revamp my regimen. So far so good. This hair journey is all about the ups and downs. Its not perfect, just how life isn't perfect...lol

I need to slow down on the product & technique experiments. I did the baggy thing and ended up with mushy ends resulting in an unscheduled trim (one inche set back). Never again!

Sorry to hear about your setback. We live and we learn right? What is a mistake, but a lesson learned. I heard someone say that life is the hardest teacher b/c we fail the test and then we learn the lesson. What matters is what you do from here and you recognize your mistakes. Don't get down. Sometimes on our hhj we expect more than is realistic. Keep your head up, literally and you should have great progress the next time around. My first real progress pic wasn't about length it was about overall improvement in health, then the length pics come. Keep up the good work! HHG!

BF, sorry to hear about your setback! It's good that you're trying out new products though. That's how you find out what works best for your hair. The baggy thing didn't work for me either. :(

Laqt you're exactly right! We do live and learn and that's why i am going to take every setback as a learning stone and not get upset.
