My "No Heat" Curls!

Here's a braidout I did on my hair....I'm loving my black hair right now... :-) Here's how I created this look. 1. Washed and deep conditioned my hair 2. Applied NexFaze Protein Leave In and sealed with oil 3. I always wait until my hair is about 70-80% dry before I style for braidout. 4. I make about 8 plaits and roll them under with my satin rollers. 5. When I wake up the next morning, I apply more oil to the ends and then unravel the braids. 6. Then, I finger comb, fluff my hair, and go! Here's a pic of the rollers I use. I bought them from CVS for about $15. My braidouts usually last for about 2-3 days. Sometimes they only last that one day depending on the mood of my hair...lol. Have you tried the braidout? If not, give it a try! It's a great way to add curls without using heat! Let me know how it goes.... -K.D.

It looks great on every color in my opinion. I had goldish brown highlights in my hair and I did braidouts all the time! Try it! :-)

ITA, I think highlights look so great with curls. But any healthy hair color looks great, curls just pop a little more with color.
