Following Instructions for Giveaways

Hey ladies!

Today's the last day to enter the giveaways in my 2 Year Giveaway Extravaganza! Thank you all again for entering & spreading the word. :-) Good luck to you all! I wanted to address a few issues that I had with the giveaways. I really debated with myself about writing this, but after mentioning it on my Facebok wall, I decided to just write a full post to clear the air. Unfortunately, some of you didn't follow the directions on how to enter for some of the giveaways. I hate that I have to disqualify some of the entries because of this. Some ladies simply wrote, "I tweeted" when the actual tweet link was requested, or just sent me their Twitter username. There were other ones, but these are the ones I remember off the top of my head. It's not fair to the other ladies who actually followed the directions.

For future HairGurl giveaways (and there will be more) please, please, please read the instructions very carefully & follow them. You don't want to visit HG, read about a giveaway, enter, & then find out your entry was disqualified because you didn't follow the instructions. That's no fun. I try to make my giveaways as easy as possible because when I enter other people's giveaways I like for them to be simple & easy...or I just won't enter! I was just telling the hubs this the other day after I saw this complicated giveaway online. I Won!

Okay the title is a little dramatic, but I couldn't help it. Brown Girl Gumbo held a giveaway for the Caress Evenly Gorgeous Burnt Brown Sugar & Karite Butter Beauty Bar and I won! I love Caress bar and it's the only bar soap I use. It makes my skin so soft. I use body washes when I shower and Caress bar soap when I take bubble baths. I can't wait to try this scent out! I love this site because Karla talks about everything from mascara to fashion. It's definitely a must read site and I think you guys should check it out if you haven't already.
