How Are You Wearing Your Hair For Thanksgiving?

Hey ya'll!

I've been sick and tired all day. #notagoodpreggieday I have so much to do in preparation for Thanksgiving on Thursday. I still haven't figured out what I'm going to do with my hair. I know I'm going to wash and dc it tonight. What I'm going to do after that is a mystery....This is how I wore it last year...

It was a wash-n-go ponytail. I always try to go with something simple because I cook every year and the last thing I'm worried about is my hair. I do want it to something cute and presentable though. Who's cooking? How are you ladies wearing your hair? I need some ideas!

Jazzing Up Ponytails: Side Braid

Edges courtesy of Eco Styler Gel.... ;-) This stuff really works great on edges.
This was basically another one of my wash-n-go ponytails. I love doing wash-n-go ponytails. The look just looks so carefree. :-) I did a light side braid on the side. I couldn't grip my hair like I wanted to because it was still very damp, but you get the picture.

Jazzing Up Ponytails: Twists

This is something I do with almost every ponytail I make. I always add something to the front like a cute piece of hair accessory or a little hump. Sometimes I do a braid in the front. Recently, I've discovered that I like how twists look! Like actual twists. A lot of times I'll twist, but it just looks like a hump.... The actual twists are even better. Especially with my infamous wash & go ponytail! :-) As my hair gets longer, the look slightly different than they used. Hey, I'm not complaining. lol
I do the twist on side of my head....
This is just the first of a new series on HG called Jazzing Up Ponytails. Ponytails have been helping me retain length since '08 so I've come up with A LOT of ways to jazz them up. Next post- braids!
