Chevy Traverse Review & Recap!

Hey ladies!

I'm back with my Chevy Traverse recap! As you guys know, the Houston Area Chevy Dealers provided the hubs & I  with a 2012 White Diamond Edition Chevy Traverse for 2 weeks to test drive. See my initial post here! They also provided us with gas card & a spa gift card as well. The hubs, Khlo Face, & I had so much fun test driving the Chevy Traverse for the last 2 weeks. His truck & my car received a nice, restful vacation thanks to the Traverse. :-)

I loved these features:

1. OnStar- If you're prone to getting lost (like me) this is perfect. I don't know what it is... I am getting better though! lol Unlike the rest of the world, I don't have a GPS so I'm forever relying on Google directions. This feature also gives you Turn-by-Turn navigation! 
2. SiriusXM Satellite Radio- As someone who plays cd's all the time,  I really liked being able to listen to different radio stations especially the 90's. I heard this song on the 90's station that I hadn't heard since I was in 5th or 6th grade. Ya'll remember 'Everyday People' by Arrested Development??!!? :D That was my jam & I'd forgotten ALL about that song!
3. Space- This 8 passenger truck is very spacious! We had a vintage anniversary photo shoot & all of our props fit very well in the back! We also went grocery shopping & the bags fit comfortably as well.
4.Safety-The Traverse earned a 5 Star Overall Vehicle Score & boasts 6 air bags. I think of car safety even more because of Khlo Bop.
5. Ultrasonic Rear Parking Assist- Such a useful feature this is! It lets you know if there's an object behind the truck. When backing up it beeps & the beeps become faster as you're getting closer to the object.
6. Rear air vents- The air vents are on the ceiling of the Traverse. I LOVE this feature for the Munchkin. The air blows straight down on her vs. me always trying to figure out if there's enough air getting to her in my car. I'm always reaching back & feeling her head to see if she's too hot. #houstonheat

New Hairstyle: French Twist & Twist Out Curls!

 This is the updo I rocked this weekend....and I'm still rocking it! All of these pics except for the one outside were taken in the Chevy Traverse.

Man, I love this updo. As you can see it's almost identical to the French Twist with Curls except these curls were created by a twist out not a bantu knot out. I also posted more french twist w/ curls photos on Facebook I think last week. Except this one was on a twist out. I did a video on on how to do it. Still editing it so when I'm done (should be today) I'll add the video to this post. Oh & check out our 1st Traverse video on Facebook! The hubs & I actually did the video on this day. :-)

Great news!!!! The hubs & I, along with 22 other Houston bloggers, were selected to participate in the Houston Chevy Traverse White Diamond Test Drive Program sponsored by the Houston Area Chevy Dealers. Basically, we get to test drive the Traverse for 2 whole weeks. :D They've even supplied us with a gas card & a spa gift card (<3). Last week, we attended the breakfast at The Grove in downtown Houston & it was so much fun. Everyone was in love with Khloa as usual. She always steals the show! lol. After breakfast, we were led outside to meet our new ride & Mike did a great job at explaining the features.
